
Recently, I've seen heated debates on social media about "why so many people hate Java," particularly among X users. I'm not surprised by this controversy, especially since there are still people in schools claiming that "C language is outdated, and no one needs to learn it anymore."

Personally, I haven't worked on Java projects but have some understanding of the language. I also have some biases against Java, probably because I rarely see independent developers using it. In my work, whenever Java is an option, I usually go for alternatives: Kotlin or Flutter for Android development, and Python or Node.js for backend development.

## Heavy Simplicity: Java’s Strength and Weakness  

Although I don't use Java, years of observation and reflection have helped me understand why it's so controversial. Java's success and its struggles both stem from its core identity: an industrial-grade programming language.

This identity is evident in its design and ecosystem. Some people say, "With Spring Boot, even the most inexperienced developers can produce decent code." While this might sound harsh, it highlights one of Java's key traits: it provides a relatively high floor for quality, enabling projects to utilize cheaper labor while maintaining a baseline of acceptable code quality.

However, this is also where the problem lies. The world of computer science is vast, and programming applications are diverse. Not all scenarios require the industrial-level stability and structure Java offers. Sometimes, we need rapid prototyping; other times, extreme performance or elegant functional programming. Java chose to specialize in engineering robustness, which comes at the cost of flexibility in other areas.

Developers proficient in multiple languages can often master Java with ease, appreciating its design choices with a more inclusive mindset. On the other hand, those who focus solely on Java may struggle to understand or value the strengths of other languages.

Java is indeed a "heavy sword"—clunky but powerful. Yet in the fast-paced world of technology, this characteristic is both an asset and a liability. Emerging languages bring modern features and new ways of thinking, while Java, burdened by its design philosophy and legacy, often lags behind in adopting innovations. The frustration with Java is less about hatred and more about disappointment in its limitations.

## Legacy Baggage and Modernity Debates  

Java's legacy baggage is epitomized by its slow evolution. When Java 8 introduced Lambda expressions and Stream APIs in 2014, developers were thrilled—only to soon ask why it took so long for Java to adopt features other languages had for years.

Java’s conservatism has its reasons. As a language serving primarily enterprise applications, stability and backward compatibility are paramount. For instance, in a project I participated in, we debated using new features in Java 17 but ultimately chose Java 11 for compatibility and team familiarity. Such compromises are common in enterprise development and explain Java's "conservative" image.

Java’s garbage collection (GC) mechanism, while a strength, is also a pain point. It spares developers from managing memory manually but introduces performance overhead and unpredictability. At a tech conference last year, a speaker shared how their team spent months fine-tuning JVM parameters to resolve GC issues in large-scale microservices. In contrast, languages like Go offer modern and efficient GC designs, making them more appealing for microservice development.

However, Java is making efforts to modernize. Project Loom's virtual threads, Project Valhalla's value types, and Project Amber's language enhancements show Java’s determination to meet modern programming needs. But for developers accustomed to other languages, these changes might still feel too slow.

## The Education Angle: Java in Universities vs. Industry  

As someone experiencing Java education in college, this topic resonates deeply with me. Java is often chosen for teaching due to its structured syntax, strict typing system, and exception-handling mechanisms, which foster good programming habits. Its rich libraries and documentation also make it an accessible learning tool.

However, Java education in universities is often overly theoretical and outdated. For example, modern Java tools like Spring Boot and Maven have only recently been introduced in some curricula. Many universities still rely on decade-old textbooks teaching JSP and Servlet technologies, which are now considered obsolete. Worse, focusing on a single language limits students' technological perspectives in an era of multi-paradigm, multi-language software development.

University Java education needs to shift from teaching specific syntax to fostering programming thinking. Language is just a tool—problem-solving skills are fundamental, especially in the age of AI-assisted programming.

## Performance Challenges: Java in Modern Architectures  

When discussing Java's performance, the JVM stands out as a double-edged sword. A friend once told me about deploying a Spring Boot application on a Raspberry Pi—its startup time was nearly 30 seconds. Meanwhile, a Go binary equivalent took mere seconds or even milliseconds to launch. While extreme, this example highlights Java’s limitations in certain scenarios.

JVM's memory footprint has long been an issue, exacerbated in the containerized era. For instance, a minimal Spring Boot application, even without business logic, requires over 100MB of container image size and at least 200MB of runtime memory. In contrast, a similar Go application might only use 20MB of storage and 50MB of memory. This disparity scales dramatically in microservices architecture.

## Ecosystem: Java’s Double-Edged Sword  

Java’s extensive ecosystem is both its greatest asset and its heaviest burden. Maven Central Repository hosts millions of artifacts, unmatched by most other languages. But this "richness" often becomes a liability.

Even a simple Java project on GitHub can have a `pom.xml` file stretching thousands of lines, dominated by dependency management. This reminds me of the infamous "node_modules black hole" in Node.js, but Java’s complexity can be even more daunting.

Framework choice is another double-edged sword. Spring is virtually synonymous with Java backend development. While this standardization improves efficiency and reduces communication overhead, Spring's "comprehensive" nature also creates a steep learning curve.

## Talent Market Realities  

Java’s position in the job market is unique. While it remains one of the most in-demand programming languages, pure Java developers seem increasingly less competitive. This paradox reflects market changes.

Many university graduates boast "proficiency in Java" on their resumes but lack exposure beyond Spring Boot CRUD operations. In the past, such skills might suffice, but today’s market values broader technical expertise and adaptability.

Many companies now require candidates to master at least two mainstream programming languages. This filters out candidates who rely solely on academic curricula without self-driven exploration.

## The Future of Java  

Looking ahead, Java is unlikely to disappear but may shift its focus. It will remain pivotal in enterprise systems requiring long-term maintenance but might lose ground in emerging areas like cloud-native applications and microservices to modern languages like Go and Rust.

Java’s community is actively evolving. Features like virtual threads from Project Loom and value types from Project Valhalla aim to keep Java relevant while maintaining backward compatibility. But whether these changes can keep pace with technological advancements remains to be seen.

As an independent developer, my advice is: don’t confine yourself to one language. Choose tools based on context. Java is a solid choice but not the only one. As Kent Beck once said, "Any fool can write code that a computer can understand. Good programmers write code that humans can understand." A language is merely a tool; the key lies in solving real-world problems.

## Advice for Students: Technology Choices and Career Planning

As an undergraduate developer who has experienced the confusion of choosing the right technology, I’d like to share some personal thoughts with fellow students. Regarding whether to learn Java, my advice is: don’t focus solely on “should I learn Java?” Instead, think carefully about your career goals.

If your goal is to work in a large enterprise as a backend developer, Java is still a solid choice. While I’ve highlighted several challenges Java faces, it remains unshaken in its position within enterprise-level development, at least in the short term. Particularly in traditional industries like finance and telecommunications, Java continues to dominate. Learning Java—especially the Spring ecosystem—can give you a significant advantage when applying to jobs in these sectors.

However, if you’re aiming to become an independent developer or pursue entrepreneurship, I’d suggest focusing on lighter, more flexible technology stacks. For example, Python or Node.js have relatively gentle learning curves, allowing you to bring your ideas to life more quickly. I’ve seen independent developers build MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) with Python in no time and iterate based on market feedback. In such scenarios, Java’s heavyweight nature can be more of a hindrance than a help.

For those interested in full-stack development, I recommend starting with JavaScript/TypeScript. In modern full-stack development, JavaScript can be used for both front-end (React/Vue) and back-end (Node.js), reducing the cognitive burden of switching between languages. Once you’ve established a solid foundation, you can expand your skillset by learning Java or other languages.

If you’re drawn to low-level systems, like operating systems or databases, I suggest diving into C/C++ or Rust. These languages provide a deeper understanding of how computer systems work. In this domain, Java is rarely the optimal choice.

Finally, let me emphasize that there’s no absolute right or wrong when it comes to choosing a technology. The key lies in understanding your goals and needs. Don’t blindly chase “trendy” languages; instead, make choices that align with your circumstances and aspirations.

Why (NOT) Java? - Exploring Java Education and Modern Software Development

Time flies, and it has been four years since I started my journey as a frontend developer. From my first independent frontend project "Gleandu" to my latest project "inSearch," all of them revolve around search engines. It seems that I have always had an obsession with search engines throughout my career: **I am not satisfied with the existing search engine experience and want to bring the ultimate search experience to everyone.**

Google Search needs no introduction. It is the absolute industry benchmark and the most elegant search engine, but unfortunately, it is not accessible in mainland China. Bing is also good, but it still has some ads cluttering the top of the search results. As for Baidu and other domestic search engines, they are not even worth mentioning. They are a piece of shit... My ultimate goal is to create a clean and elegant search engine that can be used by ordinary people in China.

## Product Design

### Gleandu

As the name suggests, it stands for "Clean version of Baidu made by Gloridust." I created it more than two years ago, and it was my first independent project after starting my frontend journey (before that, I had some practice projects, just modifying existing templates). Gleandu mainly served as an aggregator of multiple search engines, providing a clean landing page. However, the search results still redirected to the search engine providers—this was a compromise due to my limited capabilities at that time.

The end result of this project was a failure: **it was too ugly**. It was so ugly that I didn't even want to use it myself. Although it solved the problem of the cluttered information flow on the Baidu homepage, it was still **too ugly**: the layout of the search box was distorted, the dropdown list couldn't align properly, and the design style was inconsistent... From both a **technical and design** perspective, it was a failure.

I used it as my Chrome homepage for a year, but I almost always ended up using Google for searching directly through the URL bar. On one hand, my PC and Mac always had Clash running, so I could access Google. On the other hand, the **ugly design** made me lose the desire to use it, despite its functional completeness. Eventually, I completely abandoned this project.

### inSearch

This year, a respectable professor at our university mentioned the fact that "we don't have a decent search engine," which reminded me of my initial project. I realized that the need for an elegant/decent search engine has remained unchanged over the past decade. Now that my technical skills have improved and my UI design abilities have progressed, with the help of LLM, I thought maybe I should give it another try.

I used React/NextJS to build the frontend and backend, and used web crawlers to simulate user requests, avoiding the need to redirect to the original search engine's result page, allowing me to have full control over the user experience. The design follows a minimalist and flat style, which I have always advocated for. The floating navigation bar at the top is also one of my proudest design elements. This way, I created a UI that I would be willing to use myself. Adapting to the user system was a mandatory option, as I believe it is a sign of respect for the operating system design. Therefore, I also adapted it to support dark mode and other features.

This way, users can experience search results of the same quality as Google's. However, new problems arose: some search results couldn't be opened.

High-quality websites like Wikipedia are inaccessible to mainland Chinese users, but they are still of high quality. I believe that the accessibility of search results is also one of the criteria for judging the "quality" of a search engine. So, I used Workers to create a "web proxy" feature, which allows some inaccessible high-quality websites to display basic content. Although this reverse proxy method may still cause layout issues and unopenable media files, being unable to access a website is different from its quality—at least you can read the content.

## Technological Progress

I have to mention the relevant technologies used in these projects. When I built Gleandu more than two years ago, I only knew how to use HTML/CSS/JS, and the tedious code work was extremely boring and painful for developers. Although the code files were few, they were very ugly.

On the other hand, inSearch, thanks to the component-based development of React/NextJS, has highly readable code, making maintenance and updates much easier. The choice of languages and technology stacks also reflects some technological progress: TypeScript, React, NextJS, Workers... These are the powerful tools that helped me create inSearch.

I used to think that I hadn't made much progress in the past four years, but comparing these two projects, I can see that I have come a long way. I now use inSearch as my daily search engine. It is elegant and decent, and I'm sure you will love it.

My Four Years of Frontend Career, Obsession with Search Engines


I just returned to my dorm today, and suddenly, I felt like crying.

It’s been a year since I started college, and during this year, I bought many devices that I was particularly fond of in high school. Some were sold, and some I still keep. But looking at them, I feel an inexplicable urge to cry.

Back in high school, they were perfect in my eyes because I couldn’t afford them, so I could only learn about them on Coolapk and Bilibili. Occasionally, I’d buy a cheap device, only to sell it after a short while. Of course, they were really great back then: iOS was still smooth without unnecessary features; Honor and Huawei hadn’t split yet, and Huawei’s marketing hadn’t changed, so I was still a fan; Meizu was always the best niche product in my mind; Mac was a life goal (too expensive); I hoped that one day, I could collect all the devices I liked…

But now, ever since iOS development was handed over to the guys in India, it’s been getting worse and worse. It’s hard not to sigh as it’s going downhill—frequent lags, overheating, crashes, and a strong whiff of curry; Huawei’s image in my mind has gone from one extreme to another, and I no longer feel inclined to use domestic Android devices because of their unique added features; Meizu 20 has shown me why “those who criticize Meizu are the true fans”—the overheating and power consumption are truly on par with Apple; the delicate and compact Sony XZ2C and iPhone 4S just sit there, occasionally fiddled with, not used but too cherished to sell…

Back then, it was at its best, and now, I’m at my best, but in the end, we will never be at our best together.

## Introduction

Today, I finally activated my Wise card. I wanted to do this six months ago, but the requirements were too strict, so I gave up. I applied for the OCBC physical card half a month ago, but my Cloudflare payment was rejected. Since the OCBC card can be used as a same-name card for funding, I gave it a try. Wise's registration process changes quickly, but after researching and experimenting, I finally succeeded, and my Cloudflare renewal went through smoothly. This tutorial requires no address proof or income proof.

Our approach is to apply for the OCBC physical card, fund it via a wire transfer from a CMB (China Merchants Bank) foreign exchange account, apply for and activate the Wise card, and then use the Wise card for payments.

The Wise card is currently the most widely used and best-performing virtual card. After using it for a month, I’ve almost never experienced a payment rejection. However, to activate and fund the Wise card, you need a same-name card (a bank account under the same holder name), and most domestic banks in China do not support Wise virtual card wire transfers; even if they do, it’s likely to be rejected. That’s why we fund the Wise card through the legitimate OCBC card. Since this tutorial covers everything from applying for the OCBC physical card to the Wise virtual card, we'll start with the OCBC physical card application.

You’ll need to prepare:
- A valid mainland China passport and ID card
- A domestic bank account in China that supports wire transfers (CMB is recommended)
- Some funds in the bank (recommended at least 650 CNY for funding)
- An iOS device with an international Apple ID (recommended for this tutorial, must support NFC)

By following this tutorial, you’ll obtain:
- An OCBC Singapore bank account and physical card
- A Wise virtual card
- Funding methods: CMB wire transfer + PandaRemit

## Applying for the OCBC Physical Card

### APP Account Registration

1. Search for "OCBC" in the App Store, download OCBC Digital, and register using your "electronic passport". You can use my referral code **JH2Q37JB** to get a 15 SGD bonus; otherwise, there are no discounts if you don’t enter a referral code.
2. Follow the instructions to scan your passport and ID card, and fill out the registration information. When filling out the "employment information," it’s recommended to choose a stable option, with an income around 20,000 CNY; your China tax ID number is your ID card number.
3. After completing the registration process, your account will be set up with two default accounts: a Statement Saving Account (SGD) and a Global Saving Account (USD).

### Applying for the OCBC Bank Card

1. The default accounts cannot apply for a bank card. Next, we will open a 360 account, which comes with a debit card, and the physical card will be mailed to you after 10 days. Apply for the card via **Menu - Apply - Account - 360 Account - Apply Now**. Fill in the information truthfully. It’s recommended to include a phone number with the mailing address since the default registered mail does not include contact information, making it difficult for the courier to reach you. You can request the tracking number from OCBC's internal "secure mailbox" feature, but it usually takes three days for a reply.
2. About a week later, you will receive registered mail from China Post. You can activate the card directly through the app by clicking **Menu - Card Services - Activate Credit/Debit Card** and following the instructions. After this, you can use this OCBC card for normal payments, binding it to Apple Wallet, etc.

## Applying for the Wise Virtual Card

1. Register for a Wise account. First, register with your real information, including your domestic address and phone number.
2. After registration, select to fund the account using a Singapore account in SGD. Use the PayNow QR code for instant transfer. For domestic bank funding to OCBC, refer to the [CMB Funding](#招行入金) section below.
3. On the desktop version, change your address to Malaysia in your profile. Wise cards are not currently available in China, and when I tried switching to Singapore, it required address proof and other materials. Switching to Malaysia does not require address proof.
4. Apply for the Wise virtual card, activate it, and it can be added to Apple Wallet successfully.

## Funding Process

The first same-name account funding follows the path of CMB Wire Transfer - OCBC - Wise. The wire transfer has a significant loss; 100 SGD (500 CNY) will incur an additional cost of 150 CNY. After activation, you can consider using PandaRemit, which only costs 80 CNY, and new users get a discount.

### CMB Funding

1. Purchase foreign currency: On the bank app homepage, search for "foreign exchange purchase," select SGD (Singapore Dollar) to buy. Foreign exchange purchases have time restrictions, so it’s recommended to avoid night-time transactions.
2. After purchasing, search for "overseas transfer" to transfer funds. You may need the following information:

> Swift Code: OCBCSGSGXXX (OCBC bank displays an 8-digit OCBCSGSG, but the bank may require 11 digits when transferring; fill the remaining with X)

> Bank Name: Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited Singapore

> Bank Address: 63 Chulia Street #10-00, OCBC Centre East, Singapore 049514 (Translate "Singapore" to English, and China Merchants Bank may require removing the "#")

Choose the shared SHA fee structure: For SHA, the domestic bank fee and telegraphic transfer fee total 150 CNY, directly deducted from the domestic savings account. Select "other private travel" as the transaction code, and "personal private overseas travel expenses" as the remittance purpose. The remittance note can be left blank, but **do not** mention "funding" or similar words, as CMB may reject the payment. Other information is shown below:

## Introduction and Brief Introduction

Whether you are a college student or a teacher, you may feel headache when registering the submission status of assignments while collecting them. You will feel frustrated by some mechanical work. Now, you can use this program to greatly reduce your workload.

So I wrote and open-sourced this project. This software can check the submission status of assignments with one click, count the number of people who have submitted/not submitted, and register it in an Excel spreadsheet.

## Preparation

### Environment and Software Packages

Make sure you have installed a relatively new version of the Python3 environment and the following software packages:

### Prepare Files
1. All the assignment files submitted by the students;
2. A list spreadsheet containing all the names;
3. The program'main.py' file;

    'name_is_before' is the string before the name: for example, if your file name is 'Zhang San 2301101024' and the name is all the strings before '230', then fill in '230';

## Run

Double-click or use the following command in the file directory to run:

I don't know if it's because I'm used to using a proxy for a long time, but I encounter the campus network dropping out dozens of times almost every day during high-frequency work. Each time, I need to open the browser - open the login page - login - refresh to restore the network, and I don't know when it will drop out again.

## Human World

Because I am an ordinary person, I prefer to watch some movies with the flavor of human life. In the three years of junior high school, except for getting to know Brother Hao, I didn't seem to have done anything meaningful. ## After the College Entrance Examination: Unfulfilled Plans

I once imagined spending this only long vacation in my life after the college entrance examination, thinking about working to experience life, traveling to see the world, and also thinking about learning programming languages such as JavaScript. But obviously, plans often change. The third driving test, which I took twice but still failed, greatly changed my plans, and of course, there was also the factor of extremely fragmented time. So I spent this entire summer at home, uneventfully.

Of course, on the day after the college entrance examination, I started my French learning journey. I tried Duolingo, the French Assistant APP, the French Grammar Point-by-Point Pass, and the courses on Bilibili, but so far, the only one I can stick to is Duolingo. Perhaps this is due to its reminder and encouragement system, which has kept me going for 180 days.

## University: Quite Different but Not Disappointing

University life is much freer than high school, but compared to the imagination, it is still quite different.
The university I imagined, I could accept a little more courses, and then we still had a little more time to study the direction we were interested in. But the reality is that there are various mandatory activities to participate in every day. As the publicity committee member of the class, I also need to coordinate the corresponding participants, collect the registration forms... In short, I seem to be very busy every day, but busy without meaning, unclear.

In terms of majors, although I have some accumulation of development experience, I know very well that my technology is actually very poor (especially under the contrast of [rene](https://rene.wang)), and I still know my own weight. To my surprise, when participating in various college-level and school-level competitions, the performance of my projects was unexpectedly good. In the college maker competition that just ended a few days ago, there were a total of six promotion places, and the three projects I participated in were all among them, and I was a little proud at that time. Unfortunately, the entire Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data was completely wiped out in the school competition.

## YGeeker: Setting Sail

The work rhythm of YGeeker after the college entrance examination is obviously very tight (especially referring to our CEO, I feel that he is going to work to death every day). ## Message: Look at Yourself Who Is Not So Perfect

The best university is in the longing of high school, and the best high school is in the memories of university. After thinking about it, I still intend to write a paragraph to my younger schoolmates and young student developers.

I mentioned at the beginning of the article that I didn't focus too much energy on academic learning during high school, but I don't regret it because I was doing what I liked to do and it was meaningful. But what I want to emphasize is that the premise of not regretting may be that the things you like to do are meaningful and can bring certain help to your future.

I can do this because the things I like happen to be meaningful and can help my future. When I sacrificed a certain amount of academic learning, I had my own future direction in my heart, and I understood that the "amount of sacrifice" had little impact on my future direction, and the return from these "sacrifices" could pave the way for my future.

So, I tried to develop a password cracking script using Python.

This is a simple password cracking script that can help you crack the passwords of zip, rar, and 7z compressed packages. This script is only for academic research and other legal purposes. If the use of this script leads to violations of local laws and regulations, the user shall bear the consequences.

## Features:

### Primary School
Later, I went to primary school. I still remember my feelings on the day I entered school: I looked at the tall sixth-grade seniors and calculated the next six years in my heart. At that time, I thought time would pass very slowly, so slow that these six years would never pass, and I would always be a child.
In the first three years of primary school, I studied at an ordinary public school near my home. Under the supervision and cultivation of my mother, I had always had good grades. Even if I took a long leave once, I still ranked among the top in the class in the final exam. But campus life did not seem to be carefree just because of my good grades. At that time, the biggest worry was always being caught by the moral education teacher for various reasons when playing at school. For example, making paper airplanes, running in the corridor, playing football on the playground, forgetting to wear a red scarf... These were all the reasons why I was caught. These seemingly trivial things now were really troublesome for us ten years ago.

Many things changed in the fourth grade: my sister went to college, I transferred schools, and then we moved soon after. In the fourth grade, I transferred to a private school, which was the first time I lived in a boarding school and was away from home for such a long time and far away. That year, I seemed to cry every day. I wanted to go home and I missed my mother. But later, I finally adapted to the collective life away from home. ### Junior High School
In junior high school, I entered the best middle school in the city. The learning atmosphere there was very tense, and the teachers were very strict and responsible. In the first year of junior high school, I met the teacher I respected the most in my eighteen years. We affectionately called him "Boss". The boss was our math teacher and head teacher, and he graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a master's degree. He was in his late twenties at that time, and now he is in his thirties. But in my heart, he will always be our peer and my friend. He brought us things beyond textbook knowledge, told us many things he had seen and heard outside, and taught us the principles of being a person. He attached great importance to our all-round development and even established a small band, allowing us to use the big break time to practice singing. Yes, one year has passed quickly, and I am standing here again. But this time, I am not the one being appointed, but the one appointing others.

A year ago, with the full trust and high expectations of Minister Wang, I was空降 (air-dropped) to the position of minister. At that time, I had no leadership experience or painting skills, and naturally, I was questioned by many. But fortunately, my members trusted me very much and supported my work arrangements and decisions. I sincerely thank everyone for their trust and support, which conveys the warmth of a collective. Guide to Hackintosh

## On June 17, 2022, the domestic aircraft carrier 003 was launched at Jiangnan Shipyard and named Fujian Ship.
This is the second aircraft carrier built by our country by itself. The official nominal displacement is 80,000 tons. I think this ship has the following characteristics:
## A: Power System
The integrated power system of the ship integrates the power system and the power generation system, which is smaller in size and can have more space for other things. Unlike the traditional steam turbine, the integrated power system also supports the work of the electromagnetic ejection system. Electromagnetic ejection is very energy-consuming. If the power generation system is arranged separately, the space will be wasted a lot. The integrated power system also has a central intelligent control system that accurately distributes electric energy to all parts of the ship, just like the power supply of a computer motherboard. In addition, this power system is a huge improvement compared to 002, and the shaft power is not less than 260,000 horsepower (002 is more than 200,000). The horsepower/tonnage ratio is also comparable to that of the Ford-class.
As for why it is not nuclear-powered, I think it still needs to take it slowly. The reactor required for a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is miniaturized and has a high power. If a nuclear reactor is installed under immature technology, I am afraid it will be similar to the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and cannot run. Looking forward to the day when our country's nuclear reactor miniaturization is on board.
## B: Ejection System
This time, the bow of 003 has obviously become flat, and we have also transitioned from ski-jump takeoff to ejection takeoff. And the ejection takeoff is divided into two types: steam ejection and electromagnetic ejection. 003 uses electromagnetic ejection. Compared with the ski-jump takeoff of 001 and 002 before, the advantage of the ejection takeoff is that: 1. It allows the carrier-based aircraft to take off with full fuel and ammunition, and 2. More types of carrier-based aircraft can take off, such as early warning aircraft. The above can significantly improve the combat range of the aircraft carrier battle group. Compared with steam ejection, electromagnetic ejection has a smaller size, greater power, and adjustable power, which is simply great in general.
There is a piece of history to tell about the boarding of the ejection system. The original design of 003 was steam ejection, and the construction was also arranged according to steam ejection. Later, the team led by Academician Ma Weiming successfully developed the electromagnetic ejection, and in the ground verification experiment, it won an absolute advantage over the steam ejection. And there is no technical inheritance between electromagnetic ejection and steam ejection. We directly modified the electromagnetic ejection on the original version of the steam ejection, so there was a delay of about one year, but it was worth it.
## C: Carrier-based Aircraft System
The J-15 Flying Shark fighter carried by the previous 001 and 002 models was improved based on the Su-33 carrier-based fighter. From the "introduction" in 2009 to the finalization in 2011, the time was not sufficient. Moreover, due to the characteristics of the ski-jump takeoff of the previous two aircraft carriers, the J-15 cannot take off with full fuel and ammunition, and the combat radius is seriously limited. Another important point that cannot be ignored is that the J-15 is a third-generation fighter, and no matter how it is modified, it cannot be modified into a fourth-generation sea fighter. However, our neighboring "friendly country" Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force is purchasing the F-35C fourth-generation carrier-based fighter from the United States during the modification of its quasi-aircraft carriers Izumo and Hyuga, which has stealth capabilities and can conduct beyond-visual-range combat. However, it is worth noting that our fourth-generation sea fighter will be on board in the near future, temporarily called the J-35. The J-35 is improved based on the FC-31, with radar stealth characteristics, similar to the J-20. Compared with the FC-31, the J-35 pays more attention to the low-altitude and low-speed performance during landing, and the engine is also changed from the Russian-made engine of the FC-31 to our independently developed WS-19 with a single thrust of more than 10 tons and a thrust-to-weight ratio exceeding that of the F-35C.
Even with the fourth-generation sea fighter, the J-15 will still be retained, but it also needs to be improved to the ejection type to be on board. More than a year ago, at the lecture of Teacher Fu Qianshao, I had the honor to ask a question about the ejection type of the J-15 and got a positive answer from Teacher Fu. Combined with many public materials, we can be sure that the J-15 will be greatly modified. The engine will be replaced with the WS-10 Taihang, the tail will be added with a arresting hook, and the radar will also be replaced with a more advanced active phased array radar.
We do have the fourth-generation sea fighter now, but we cannot ignore the application of the third-generation fighter. The fourth-generation fighter is like the FBI (fog) kicking open the door and tearing a hole, and then the third-generation fighter conducts saturation attacks. This is also applicable to the Air Force and the Naval Aviation. The J-20 is paired with the J-16 and the J-10, and the J-35 is paired with the J-15.
## D: Personal Opinion
From the Varyag to the Fujian Ship today, what we see is the modernization development of the Chinese Navy. From the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 that woke up the Chinese dream to the completion of the modernization of the navy today, we are always looking forward. In order to ensure that the style is consistent with the (my) channel (poor skills), for the information page, I directly used the export function of the channel software, exported it to html and hung it directly, made slight modifications to the header and footer, and added a few jump buttons.

Then there is the problem of the website going online. The static web hosting service here uses github page, which saves time and effort, does not need to worry about the server, and focuses on operating the website for free.
The domain name uses the free.tk domain name, but the registration process is more troublesome. The freenom official has a very strict review mechanism to prevent malicious registration (referring to the verification of the IP address during registration and the filling of personal information, etc.).
Then the name server is set to the reverse proxy CDN service of cloudflare. One is because the freenom official website review is really too harsh. If the IP is changed in the middle, you need to log in again, and it is also very stuck; the second is considering the reason for domain name filing. If there is no reverse proxy, it may be inaccessible. If domains such as Ali and Tencent are inaccessible, this can also be solved.

With the reverse proxy provided by cloudflare, we can also implement more interesting functions. For example, by identifying the user identifier UA to achieve different wallpaper adaptations for the PC and mobile terminals.
